The battery and inverter cost is a key one to consider here. Solar batteries degrade over time, and need replacing after 10-12 years. With us you'll get a free upgrade when that happens, but if you choose to pay upfront you'll have to pay the full cost yourself (in the region of £3,000-7,000, based on current prices).
